Gali Weinreb is a senior journalist, writer and blogger. She was born in 1976 and grew up in Haifa and in the United States. She studied in the Interdisciplinary Program for Outstanding Students at Tel Aviv University and specialized in the areas of brain research, psychology, sociology and film. At the same time, she studied at the “Keter” School of Communications. As part of the Interdisciplinary Program, she completed her MBA in Tel Aviv University. At the beginning of her career she worked as a writer and editor in the professional newspaper “The Marketing Forum”. After that, she joined the Globes newspaper as deputy editor of the Market Share section. Since 2005, Weinreb has been the science and biomed correspondent for Globes.
Over the years, she has published numerous biomedical and popular science articles. In addition, she runs the Facebook page “Gali Weinreb Science Report”. In 2017 she published her book “Outstanding”, a love story and maturation in academia. Today she lives in Tel Aviv, married with 2 children.
